East Jefferson Fire and Rescue needs donations for training. (More images of training).

This can include:
Abandoned structures
Unwanted vehicles
Any construction materials

Training is an on-going program that accomplishes the following; education training, and orientation to new information. 

Continual skills maintenance including fire, rescue, hazmat and EMS.  To do this effectively the fire department must provide realistic drill scenarios and training props. 

We are always looking for buildings to train in that include non-destructive training, destructive training and burn buildings. 

Additionally the training division always has a need for training materials that include dimensional framing lumber, plywood sheets, sheetrock sheets and automobiles. 

Building of hands on props needs building materials

The training division will accept automobiles that have a clear and presentable title and are delivered to the training site. 

Donation of vehicles and other training equipment

If you have items that you would like to donate the fire department has a 501c3 non-profit that can get you a tax donation (see your tax professional).
