Assistant Chief Ted Krysinski, Training and Operations
Division Chief, started his fire career in 1992 after coming from the Film
industry as a Grip / Gaffer working in both Hollywood and other west coast film
locations.
Ac Krysinski started as a volunteer firefighter / EMT with
Port Townsend Fire Department.
In 1996 AC Krysinski completed the Paramedic Program at
Tacoma Community College. Working for Olympic Ambulance in Port Angeles,
AC Krysinski was hired 1999 as a Firefighter Paramedic with
Clallam County Fire Protection District #3 and in 2002 promoted to Lieutenant.
In 2005 AC Krysinski accepted the position of Division Chief
for Jefferson County Fire Protection District # 6 which has merged into
Jefferson County FPD # 1.
He also continues to be a certified Paramedic.
AC Krysinski is a certified instructor in many disciplines
including Fire and Emergency services. AC Krysinski is also the steward of the
Port Townsend Fire Fighters Association historical antiquities, which includes
documentation and display of the many items of the 135-year-old Fire Department
that continues to serve Port Townsend since 1872.
